Gift Card Terms

A Jyra gift card is a one-time code worth a fixed amount in Armenian dram (AMD). Once redeemed, the amount is added to the holder's Jyra wallet and can be spent on jyra.am.

Gift cards are issued by Jyra Armenia, a brand operated by Meriaa LLC.

You can request a gift card on the Gift Cards page. A request is not a gift card yet. The card becomes active only after we confirm your payment, and only then is it emailed to the recipient.

Please check the recipient's email address carefully. We send the gift card to the address you give us, and we are not responsible for cards sent to an address entered by mistake.

Gift cards cannot be bought with wallet balance or loyalty points.

To use a gift card the recipient needs a free Jyra account. The code can be used once. The full amount is added to the wallet of the account that redeems it, and the card cannot be used again.

Anyone who has the code can redeem it. Please treat your code like cash and keep it private.

When you request a gift card you can add a personal message and one photo. The message and photo appear on the gift card in the email and when the recipient adds the card to their wallet.

By adding a photo you confirm that you took it or have the right to use it, and that anyone shown in it is happy for it to be shared. Please do not upload a photo of a child unless you are their parent or legal guardian. Do not include other people's personal contact details in a photo or message.

Photos and messages must not be unlawful, hateful, threatening, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, misleading, or an invasion of someone's privacy.

Our team reviews every photo before a gift card is sent. We may decline a photo, or decline to send a gift card whose photo or message breaks these rules. If we decline only the photo, the card is sent without it. If you would rather cancel the card, tell us before it is paid for.

Photos are stored privately and used only to make your gift card. Anyone who has the gift card email can open the photo, so please be happy for the recipient to forward it. To have a photo removed, write to support@jyra.am.

You are responsible for the photos and messages you submit.

Wallet money can be used on any order on jyra.am, including delivery and service fees, and the whole balance can be used on a single order. If an order costs less than your balance, the rest stays in your wallet. If it costs more, you pay the difference at delivery.

The wallet is separate from Jyra loyalty points. Loyalty points have their own rules and limits, which do not apply to the wallet.

You can share part of your wallet balance with another Jyra customer by entering the email of their Jyra account. The person must already have an account. Shared amounts are final and cannot be reversed by Jyra.

Gift cards and wallet balances do not expire.

Gift cards are non-refundable once payment has been confirmed. They cannot be exchanged for cash, and wallet balance cannot be withdrawn or paid out.

If a gift card has not been paid for or has not yet been sent, you can ask us to cancel it by writing to support@jyra.am.

If an order that was paid with wallet money is cancelled, the wallet money is returned to your wallet, not to a bank card or to cash. If a return is accepted for an item that was paid with wallet money, the refund goes back to the wallet.

If a code has not been redeemed, we can re-send it to the recipient's email address. A code that has been redeemed cannot be replaced.

If a gift card or wallet amount was added by mistake or because of a technical error, we may correct it.

We may cancel a gift card, and any unspent balance from it, if we reasonably believe it was obtained through fraud, a chargeback, or a payment that was not completed, or if these terms are broken.

We may update these terms. Gift cards already paid for keep the terms in force when they were bought, unless a change is required by law.
